American Friends of Magen David Adom is a bold and dramatic initiative that gives Christians a means to express their Biblical responsibility to stand with Israel and the Jewish people. With the grassroots approach at the center of their outreach, American Friends of Magen David Adom is a perfect partner, also giving expression of the ability for individual Christians and ministries like ours to stand with Israel and save lives in Israel in the most vivid way. As Christians calling this generation to protect and defend God’s Chosen People and the Land of Israel, we support American Friends of Magen David Adom wholeheartedly and urge others with a heart for Israel to do so as well.

I am proud to be an active supporter of American Friends of Magen David Adom. To give blood is to give life. Living in Israel for several years, interacting with Israelis of all walks of life, and becoming part of the fabric of this great nation, it is imperative that we link arms together to assist in a way that is so simple and which collectively brings the world together around SAVING LIFE. I urge fellow Christians with a heart for Israel to make the choice today, to get personally involved with Israel and its people, to donate blood when in Israel, and when not in Israel to join me in supporting American Friends of Magen David Adom.

My husband Ray and I have been blessed to minister to Christians worldwide who love Israel, and desire to express friendship and a united stand with Israel based on the Bible. We strive to take the love of Jesus back to the people who brought the Bible to us. We do this through outreach projects in Israel, and we also teach the Church about its Hebrew heritage and Biblical responsibility to the Jewish people.  As God said, “…it pleased the Lord to bless Israel.” (Numbers 24:1). We have the privilege of supporting American Friends of Magen David Adom to complement all our other activities that bless Israel, with all our heart.

Despite theological differences, millions and millions of Jews and Christians share a common vision of civilization and humanity. Our common values engender friendship, compassion, and courtesy rather than brutishness, hate, and violence. With the increasing turbulence in the Middle East, we are in a season of uncertainty. In an expression of our concern for all Israelis and to be a blessing for this nation, I wholeheartedly support the efforts of American Friends of Magen David Adom. Through the virtual blood donation we can fulfill Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the thoughts I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.  This initiative helps all people, Jews and non-Jews, alike. I ask my Christian brothers and sisters to sow into a project that gives hope for a people now and future for a nation.

American Friends of Magen David Adom gives a direct action that we can undertake in addition to our prayers. It gives us the opportunity to express our solidarity with Israel and a vehicle to honor Israel.

In the midst of the situations arising in the Middle East and around the world, there is a new breed of Christians alive in the earth today who say with clarity and conviction, “For Zion’s sake we will not be silent; For Jerusalem’s sake we will not be still.” Never again will the Jewish people stand alone. Besides prayer, Bible-believing Christians can sow into American Friends of Magen David Adom as a meaningful way to put action into faith in order to answer the need of the hour. Through American Friends of Magen David Adom we can fulfill the Issachar Anointing (1 Chronicles 12:32) by understanding the times and willing to put courageous action that God is calling us to do in standing with Israel and its people.

It was a special feeling to give blood in Jerusalem, where Jesus gave his blood for me, knowing that my blood could help save the lives of Israelis today. It’s awesome to know that my blood could have been used to save as many as three people who are alive today because of that. I strongly encourage everybody to give blood in Israel, but if you can’t do so or Israel’s just a little too far away for now, please consider joining American Friends of Magen David Adom’s virtual blood donation program through which you can still save lives in Israel from as far away as Miami or Mumbai.

When I first heard about American Friends of Magen David Adom, I thought of Jesus on the cross, giving His blood for me. Through American Friends of Magen David Adom, today we can express our love to the Jewish people, God’s chosen people, and give our blood for them. American Friends of Magen David Adom also supports Israel’s national ambulance service so that the first responders can get the critically ill or injured to the hospital where Israel’s best medical care and safest blood will save their lives. American Friends of Magen David Adom is simply an exciting way for all Christians to stand with Israel. Please join me in supporting their efforts because it’s God’s desire that we bless Israel.
